Week 19 of Pregnancy 6

Next week is the anatomy scan and I find myself being a lot of different emotions this week. I so badly want to be excited for this pregnancy, but as I stated last week, I am still cautiously reserved. But I’m more excited right now than I thought I would be.

Then, I read stories about stillborn babies.

I am not trying to read these stories, but they somehow keeping popping up on my social media feed. Now that the miscarriage risk is slim to none, my brain essentially goes to the next worst thing that can happen. It is so annoying and exhausting. I just want to be happy. And I want to not worry about this.

I am just ready to know that everything is okay.

I KNOW everything is okay, I’m just ready for a licensed professional to tell me that everything is okay.

My emotions are just all over the place in general.

I’m just a hot mess right now. All I can think about is this damn anatomy scan.

I did, however, make my return to CrossFit this week after a two week absence.

Let me tell you, it’s not easy to take off one week from CrossFit, much less two, but add on pregnancy to that. BYE. It’s fucking awful.

Felt good for being off two weeks. Plus, it wasn’t that technical of a lift, so this was a good introduction back for me.

Back Squat

1×5 @ 70% = 145#
3×5 @ 77% = 155#
3×5 @ 82% = 155#

Back squatting is starting to get hard. Had the same issue last pregnancy. It just starts to become hard on the hips and the sciatic nerve.

Could not complete the toes to rig. I started have coning which can lead to ab separation so I stopped.

I’m still having major deltoid issues in my right arm. I have no idea why. I scaled the numbers way off my max just so I could complete this.
