Week 16 of Pregnancy 6

This week I was traveling for the third time in less than 4 weeks.

I was visiting Cleveland again and going to the same place as before, just for a different reason. Thankfully, it was another quick trip. I was gone for less than 36 hours. 

But, this time, the weather got me. My allergies finally got me. It was freezing cold and super snowy. Even though it’s cold in Louisville, it’s a different kind of cold there. And on top of the snow. No Thank You. 

After this trip, I realized that I never want to travel in the cold/snow again.

I have never been on a plane that had to get de-iced before. Every single one of my flights had to be de-iced which delayed all my flights by at least 30 minutes or better. It was not fun. I realize this HAS to happen in order to ensure a safe flight, but I just made the decision that if all possible, I avoid winter flights to the north. 

Pregnancy wise, I am feeling okay this week.

My stomach is slowly starting to protrude each day. For me, this is a welcome sign that things are progressing as they should. But, I also know that when it starts to grow, it will not stop until I pop that baby out.

I also had a therapy appointment this week when I returned from my trip. I was really excited to tell her about my talk with my dad and stepmom and how well it went. She was proud of me for standing my ground and not backing down. I told her the conversation was constructive and not aggressive at all. Overall a MAJOR win for me in the therapy department. 

Second Trimester CrossFit

CrossFit did not happen this week. Between all the traveling and catching a cold, I decided to take the week off.

This really sucks because I am going to be out of town AGAIN next week and I will for sure not be working out.
